Default Sirius Installation

I just called around to find prices on installation for all those who ordered them. I found that Best Buy is by far that cheapest at $79.99. Most others where around the $140 range. Some place also charged extra if you want the antenna hooked up.

Default Hmmm, thanks!

Not really in the mood to tear apart my beater looking for power sources...and I don't have the keys to remove the radio. Maybe I'll just swing by best buy?

I know there's a tech article for XM...won't that work for Sirrius, too?

Default I wouldn't pay $79 for the install in the S...

since I know where to tap the power, and I have the tools for the radio. But you're right, on the beater, it's work, running around finding the radio removal tools, removing dash panels hoping to find a power tap somewhere. We'll see...

Default Did mine last night. started at 9pm finished at midnight with drinking breaks (more)

hardest part was the antenna adapter because mine was way behind the dash due to the aftermarket radio. It works alright so far, have to learn the stations. Install is not anymore difficult than a regular radio.

Default Looks different - I see no reason to pull the radio out...

I think you can just run the Fm modulator between the antenna cable in the trunk

Won't you have to cut and splice the antena then?
