Default so, i am reading up on koni vs bilstien

i was reading the following aw thread.. very helpful.. but just a few more questions..

so, what kind of difference am i going to feel on the road? from this post, it seems that the koni absorb the shock of the road slightly better because of the dampening adjustability. so, basically if i go with bilstiens, i am going to give up ride for height adjustable?

if that is the only main difference, then i am leaning more and more towards koni.

then there is stasis... but that is another post.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1080043.phtml">click da clickity</a></li></ul>

Default Ryan is from Stasis and they use Konis exclusively. Konis are last decade's news.

Default Alex, LMK if you're still interested in the suspension.

Just e-mail me to let me know if you're still interested.

Default yeah, cause Bilstein's site offers unbiased information...

...buy a shock dyno and start rebuilding your own shocks then give me a call and we can talk about what advantages lie in both.

Oh, and last time I checked, no one in the high end racing leagues run a Bilstein. Check F1, IRL/CART, NASCAR, etc. and let me know how many are running a mono-tube Bilstein.

If memory serves me correct, you'll only find Ohlins, Penske, and yes, the "outdated" stuff of last decade from KONI.

But hey, what do those people with unlimited budgets know about dampers? They probably haven't found out about the Bilstein secret yet. Since street car performance drives racing technology, not the other way around.

Keep searching away from the Bilstein site if you really want information.

Thought people may want biased data from the other side of the coin is all.
