Default So I'm getting on the car.. in chip mode....
Acceleratin to about 40 in 3rd ease off.. then step on it at about 4000 rpm..get to 5000 and then Huhh? Waht happened.. no more bost? Slowed down.. slight excelleration.. Switch the chip of for about a minute.. continue to drive easy. Then I chiip on and all is well.. Bost is back and the ar is fine...

I get home and hook up the VAG and I get an OVERBOOSTED code.. cleared the code..drive areound... no new codes.

Thoughts.... Oh.... EVERYTHING else on the 2.7T is stock, just the APR EMCS chip is the only mod...

you might have seen throttle cut from overboosting if you got a boost spike for some reason

Isn't this more commonly triggered from TBB tear or boost leak - or is that just the deviation codes

Default i get throttle cut because of boost spikes
i'm sure you know this...like i'll step on the throttle and it will fill strong till it hits 1.55bar then cut throttle...ugh

Default It wasn't a throttle cut.. I've experieinced that.. it was an instant safe mode.
And the VAG code said overboost..
One time is nothing.. in the morning on the NJ TPK.. I'll give it another go..
