So when going RS4 ICs, are RS4 IC shrouds absolutely necessary or is it OK to mod the stockers?
I see in APRs RS4 IC instructions it just says to mod the stock shrouds...
Just wondering what people's opinions on that are.

I'd bet APR is close to being correct. In all the time the RS4 IC's have been out
nobody has bothered to actually test the RS4 shrouds vs modified stock shrouds for any differences. You can definitely use the stockers and it's probably not going to cut the efficiency much.
