Default So who thinks the under tray was put there to hide the oil leaks?

S4
2 rear main seals
1 oil pan
2 turbo oil return line Orings

Results, fresh oil leak still

allroad
1 oil pan
1 turbo oil return line
1 upper oil sump

Results, really large nasty leak still.

I'm either overly sensitive or a bit satanic as I put the cars in the air at least twice a month to inspect for leaks etc.etc.

hehehe, I wouldn't argue with that theory, I don't think mine's ever been oil free after removing it

If so, I wish every jerk that parked in my driveway had one.

Default someone has actually tested engine bay temps w and w/o the belly pan...

it's cooler with the pan.

but no doubt it also hides oil leaks =P
