Sold the Avant...what next?

One last question....
Cooper S or Focus SVT? SVT is cheaper but Cooper S is more fun to drive. Looking for daily commuter. Anyone, anyone?

Id go with a Focus SVT.
Mini Cooper S: nicer car, little more class, and it's easy to coax the existing SC to 200hp. Neat things like Xenons available. Lots of cache.
The Focus SVT is a superb hatch, id love one for a daily driver. Damn quick, fully modded from the factory...6 speed, good seats, great exhaust note, brakes, suspension...no need to make it a project...comes in black, silver, and that blue. If you want more power later, just drop a SC kit and your SVT will make ~220hp.
Put another way...look at the cost difference. About 22k for a nice Cooper S, about 18.5 for a nice SVT. Ford will deal on SVTs, you can try to pick up a 02' still on the lot, you can get the 0% financing. Im sure from an S4 its chump change, but that adds up...the Cooper carries a 4-6k premium over the SVT. Not worth it to me.
Car&Driver has put the Focus at the top of its list ever since release...its a superb car.
