Default some general questions

does the s4 have any limited slip

and isnt the power 50 50 transferred

what do i need to remove or look for to check visually TBB and DV's

Default No LSD. Electronic Differential Locking instead. F/R torque = 46/54. Remove TBB to inspect. --->

You can test each DV (Recirculating Valve in pic) by applying suction to the small hose nipple. If it holds vacuum, it's OK. Remove center engine cover to see.

Default Here's a good general info article

The most interesting part is some audis came with a torsen rear differential:

Quattro III: open front diff, torsen center diff (auto version: planetary gear center with electronically controlled multi-plate locking clutch), torsen rear diff.

Full-time automatically engaged four-wheel drive.
