Speed sensor @ Purems $11 vs Speed Sensor @ ECS $45? Why is this?
 

Im trying to tell if its the same thing, but ECS doesn't have any pictures of theres. Anybody else seen these prices? TIA (this is not Africa)

can you send me a link to the speed sensor. i couldnt find it on purems.

The PureMS one is the Vehicle Speed Sensor, maybe the ECS one is the Engine Speed Sensor

genuinevwaudiparts shows retail $31.80 and priced at $21.94
 

my guess is purems has direct link to oem manufacturer? ecs's purchase price could be closer to retail, or maybe they like a huge markup.

That's a vehicle speed sensor that attaches right above the driver side axle attachment point.

ECS description reads: Speed sensor located on the differential for the speedometer

In that case they are the same part. I have bought the PureMS one and had 0 issues.
