Spent the day doing a few details... Aluminum Trim, CF details, car wash- ->

I decided to swap out my birds eye belt line trim for the Sport Aluminum...

I was actually able to do the job without removing the center console!!

Also changed the center console to the matte black trim pieces..

Then I made a custom insert for my Rob Knob out of Santorin Carbon Fiber weave... It's the only CF on the car..so I think I am flying under the Ricer Radar...

Last, my daughter and I washed the cars...this resulted in a water fight, and two skinned knees!!

Looks great...I'm a big fan of the aluminum trim. Your daughter is a cutie!

Where did you get the aluminum trim and the boost guage?

I've got a few dinged up pieces to replace.

Also, that's a really nice gauge setup.

Re: Where did you get the aluminum trim and the boost guage?

The trim came from Dad's Auto. But you can get it from the dealer, or Achtuning.

I made the gauge setup.

Oh I see it now. Mine is so messed up so I just thought that's what it used to look like.

LI-S4 06-19-2005 05:57 PM

Thanks!

My wife made me delete her picture...

LI-S4 06-19-2005 05:58 PM

I printed instructions and put them up for sale on ebay- - ->

I'll update you on it tomorrow...I'm exhausted.

BoneStockS4 06-19-2005 07:38 PM

Looks awesome! I really dig the silver trim on black everything else! Uber-classy!

All this time I thought the lovely young woman in your sig was your daughter...

She's your wife?

Bruck 06-20-2005 04:36 AM

any good pics of the awe, still trying to decide if it looks "stock" enough for me

I've spent this year attempting to minimalize all of my interior mods. I would hate to add a boost guage like the AWE and have everyone ask "what's that".

(They used to say that about my: Ipod, turbo timer, nokia car kit, and V1)

LI-S4 06-20-2005 05:46 AM

Gotta tell you...I think the AWE gauge looks like crap- ->

What auto designer would put a boost gauge in the middle of an AC vent as OEM equipment? It would never happen. It has never happened, surely for a reason.

The design I have is a direct spin-off of the center mounted clocks and gauges like you can see in the Jaguar, the 300m and the Phaeton.
