Steering does not feel tight and it is sort of very light and floaty as i drive

power steering fluids? no, I did not check it, but will do that tommorrow morning, but there is no leaks on the floor though.

Tie rod ends?
Raise front of car with jack. Grab tire and try to turn it from side to side. If you encounter lots of play, the ball joints in your tie rod ends are probably shot.
