I have an oppertunity to get a used G2 and when I searched there was some comments about the "new" G2 sandblasting and sounding high pitched. Overall being more restrictive. When did this change happen?

On older G2's, some said it was too quiet and others complained about it setting off alarms!

I'm going to EPL fueling soon and also ER IC's and feel like I really HAVE to do an exhaust. I'm already broke and want to get the used unit to save some money.

It's loud, but I'm assuming it won't be bad highway cruising which is my biggest concern. I spend a lot of hours on the road.

Ugh, that doesn't sound very appealing. I'll have to get together with him and hear it first.

I like it - not at all too loud for me - never noticed sandblasting noise or droning.

I have heard it is more restrictive but have nothing to benchmark against.
