Default Stock S4 Brakes Question

I've finished painting my S4 (Lucas) front brakes.
It seems like there is too much vacuum or pressure (depending on which direction I push) on the rubber boot/bellows that guides the outer carrier. I did lube it slightly with some grease.
Has anyone had similar experience? How was it remedied? My fear is that the vacuum might pull the non-fixed end of the bellows off and then dirt, etc. will accumulate. Any help? Thanks. Steve

Default Forgot to mention . . .

I disassembled the brakes prior to painting them.

It was during the rebuild that I noticed this potential problem.

Thanks.
