they call it inertial drift in the cartoon...
...i think they are referring to drift initiated purely by momentum/inertia, not by e-brake, or brake pedal or anything like that. Or as the rally guys call it, the scandy flip.
Though in teh cartoon, he is doing it going down a moutain at about 130km/hr...
Initial D surpassed Robotech/Macross Plus as my favorite cartoon series to date. Gundam Wing would be 3rd.
Good stuff. You can appreciate the whole thing if you start from the beginning, but they really stepped it up in the 3rd Stage the Movie in terms of CG and realism.
