Stock Tires in the Rain?
Okay, I'm down to the home stretch. Word is two more weeks and I'll have my S4. There's been a lot of talk about how the stock tires suck in the snow, what about wet roads?
I don't drive in to work, so I rarely if ever use my car during the week, so the snow issue isn't a big one -- I can easily not drive, but how do the stock tires do in the rain, or when the road is wet?

Re: Stock Tires in the Rain?
Hello:
I just replaced my Bridgestone Potentially Dangerous 040's with Pirelli P7000 Super Sports.
You can see my review, located below.
The P7's are DEFINATELY better in the rain and poor weather conditions.
Howerver, the Potenza's are a much better performance tire in perfect conditions.
If my S4 was a dedicated turn and burner, I would have kept the stock tires. However, living in the North East with a lot of snow and rain, the P7's are a much better solution regarding every day driving conditions.
Who knows, by summer, I may throw on some Pole Positions or P-Zeros but for now the P7 SS give me piece of mind.

Good for stock, SUUUCKK in snow
I have to admit that these tires are HORRIBLE in the snow but in the wet they are just fine. I really don't notice a difference in normal driving when in the wet or dry. Now if you want to go crazy in the rain is a different story and I can't comment but I think they'd be fine.
