Default straight up noob Question of the day! Are K04s worth it without race gas?

Okay, I've been very close to pulling the trigger on a couple of B5 S4 sedans in my area but the right one just hasn't come along yet.

So, while I'm waiting for a squeeky clean silver or blue six speed sedan, do you guys with K04s think it's worth the expense of the upgrade if all you're planning to run is 92 octane? Are you getting about 330-350whp with pump and K04s?

thanks for indulging me,

Gary

Default Yes, it is definitely worth going with bigger turbos if only running pump gas.

I have K04/K16s and probably will never run race gas.

Default The performance difference will still be significant without race gas. (m)

I'm assuming you've considered the cost. A well set up stage 2+ is a strong car and wouldn't be as pricey. One of the main considerations should be your driving style and how you plan to use the car. If it's going to be a daily driver that you communte around town with, there are less expensive options that will get the job done and still have good performance.
