At 2000 rpm to about 3000 rpm under acceleration a sound that's like a telephone ringing in another room. So what is causing that sound? (It's not the usual turbo whistle when you first start driving.) Above 3000 rpm it either disapears or becomes inaudible.

Performance doesn't seem to be affected, though I've not wound it around to 6000 rpm. Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be?

?? 36K on stock exhaust - NEVER had this sound

...at the exact same RPM's and it goes away when passed 3k. I was wondering what this was as well.

I've got a similar problem. There's something loose in one of the turbo's wastegate servos. At the right RPMs, it vibrates. Some people also have heatshield issues that may sound similar.
