stupid radio: i can't get it out!
 

WTF!

i've read all the threads on how others' radios were stuck in there. this seems different. i can't get that bastard out!

the lower left hole doesn't do anything, tool slides in and out with no resistance. other three click in there, but the radio just kinda wiggles around (so it's not stuck with soda). it's definitely still locked in place.

i'm using the porsche tools (silver) from clair parts.

i guess i'm going to pay to have the dealer pull it out. grrrrr.

you can pick up the tools from the dealer for about twenty bucks. Also there is a rubber hold down in the back and sometimes that will stick.

Tear apart the dash around it to remove it.
 

take off the knee bolster, and glove box assembly. go from beside the radio with coathangers, peice of cake

she's going into the dealer this week anyway. i'll just play dumb and have them do it.
