Suggestions and comments about AWE LW Flywheel and Stage 2 clutch.
I can't decide what to do?
I will be taking my car in to the dealer to have them replace the dieing K03s. I am planning on having the dealer install New K04 and do the timing belt.
I think I will need to resurface my flywheel, last time I saw it didn't look that good.
So what do you guys think about the AWE LW flywheel?
What about AWE LW Flywheel and AWE Stage 2 combo?
I have heard that it will be noisy at low RPM, is this true?
How will the drivability change?
AWE Stage 2 Clutch Kits for 2.7T $780
LW Flywheel for 2.7T $750
TIA

I like mine. I had an early failure prone one and Awe replaced it with a better one.
They stand behind this product.
The flywheel does not make a noise. It causes a noise from the transmission. It's not a detriment to longevity but it bothers some folks.

What makes you think it's being done under warranty? I'd guess not
He never states that, just that the dealer will be doing the labor.
His sig says "2000"
He mentions Timing Belt change
He mentions seeing the flywheel before
Oh, and his pic poster shows a dash with 53k miles.
If he is the original owner, everything points to him being out of Audi's warranty period.

I'm not the guy to ask for a comparison since mine is the only S4 I've driven but...
The 1-2 shift is pretty quick during normal driving since the engine slows down fast when you lift the accel pedal. The gears with closer ratios (4-5-6) can get irritating at times because if you lift you foot completely off the gas while shifting the rpms will fall too much and it will jerk a little when you let the clutch back out. I have to rpm match my upshifts which requires more concentration, but I love to drive so making the experience more interactive is all good to me
