Which suspension components to choose!?!? Tri-state guys please help!
Vogtland club spec springs with Bilstein or Koni Shocks?
I live in NJ so the roads are harsh. Spturks posted he has Bilstein shocks/Vogtland springs and says he loves them. Others say Bilsteins are generally stiffer than Koni's. Anyone in the NY/NJ/PA area chime in and let me know which would be better for our roads? Looking for a close to stock feel. Also, if anyone has pics they can post, I'd appreciate it.

got mine on today
love them even though im at allroad ride height currently. im looking forward to experiencing them more. all i could think was that i understood the people that advocate suspension before chip. i dont want to speak too soon but i may agree its a better mod.

from your description, you should consider taking Stasis' Street Sport sale
i have talked to Jason@stasis he told me SS has progressive spring rate, on top its around 400lbs but when it is compressed it is very closed to 500lbs.

I'm in southern NJ, I have koni coilovers...
and I'm happy with them. Definately not as stiff as my old H&R sport / Bilstein combo on my old Passat. However, my mechanic said they were a pain to adjust because the spring kept wanting to go one way or another. (Something like that) Anyways, the only thing I don't like is that when hitting bumps i'll get some noise, which apparently is the vibration of the springs rubbing together. Anybody hear of something like this?

I'm in Jersey and I've been happy with Stasis Streetsports (Koni coilovers)...
...sounds like just what you're looking for, though admittedly I haven't had any other suspension setups (aside from stock) to directly compare.
