taking the pearl to Karosserie for the paint to be checked in the front.

what do they use to judge whether the car has been repainted or not. i posted my car a few weeks ago and there were some replys that spoke about the front fenders. i think it is ok, but i am having it checked

yea i think there is a tool to check the thickness in paint.

DuPont has this optical system... they scan the paint at

several locations and color match from that. My auto body shop uses it. They matched my bumper perfectly.

It's a Mil gauge.. tells you how thick the layers are.
