without signaling or looking over his left shoulder...i thought "cracker jacks" stop giving out drivers lic. as their surprise...well, no afternoon brew to wake me up needed..phew!!

This is exactly why I want to swap out my useless 02 A4 front brakes with S4 brakes..

S4 brakes are good every once in a while. Just don't ask them to stop quick often...

For street driving, they are excellent. You can't compare everything to the track....

Default I love my brakes, even if the rear rotors look kind of...unimpressive...
at least they make it a hell of a lot easier to use my wheel brush =]

Default point taken, but the reality is, they don't stop well under repeated use...
check out Stock M3 or Mazda Miata or Porsche brakes, these are commenly used even when the vehicle is being competitively raced.

Audi could learn from these other manufacturers on how to make good OEM brake systems.
