Thank you to AWE - and a public apology to AWE and Todd/AWE.
This morning I made a post, asking what the turnaround time was on AWE headers. I was frustrated that the turnaround time promised was longer than expected.
When I brought my car into the shop, inspecting the headers was on the list.
Unbeknownst to me, AWE took the initiative to contact Shine when they saw my posts about the motor work I was doing. Apparently, AWE is footing the shipping bill and stopped other production in their CNC mill just to take care of these for me.
I did not contact us about any issues, AWE contacted Shine on our own.
From the message I got from Todd:
The headers were not cracked. They were not leaking. We took the extra time to make sure you would not have issues down the road.
The headers are complete and shipped out yesterday from what I saw.

Todd, thanks for your help. It is appreciated.
On the otherhand, communication is key (on both sides). If you had mentioned that you took the initiative to refurb the headers, it would have made warm and fuzzy's about AWE 2 weeks ago.
Shine also failed to mention to me that AWE voluteered to refurb the headers.
It looks like I'll be able to make it to WinterDriving School next weekend =)
Sincerely,
Matt

Todd I got a brand new set of AWE headers I bought a year ago
getting ready to install. I dont want to start any paranoia here but should I be worried about them cracking too?
