Thinking of selling the S4 for an S2000. Any S2000 owner comments?

Depends on your lifestyle... (more)
Married w/ children--S4 (or wife in passenger seat and kids in trunk of S2000)
Single and looking for a cheap date-S2000
Single w/ a girlfriend-S4
Single w/ no prospective women-S2000
Single w/ LOTS of multiple girlfriends-S4 (more seats)
Young and wild-S4
Dull and Boring-S2000 (needs a lot of spicing up)
And if you're someone like Alexcool (remember him?)--you need an M3.
Feel free to add to this list, or flame on. I'm having a *wonderful* (crappy) day at work.

2 great cars but very different cars....
One of my friends has an S2000 and it's probably the best handling car i've ever driven. The power delivery is very different from the S4 though. The car is gutless below 5k rpm. But above that it screams and pulls all the way to it's 9k redline. It's a blast to drive but you have to keep the rpm's up. So with that said, i'd ask yourself what you want out of your car and what kind of driving you mostly do. I prefer the S4 because it's a much more practical car to use as a daily driver with it's low end torque. The S2000 is a go-cart and meant to be driven hard if you want to get any fun out of it. It does make an awesome track car, even bone stock.

welp....i've got 3 friends that bought s2000s in the last 3 months...
for driving around town....the car is a pain in the ***...no power till 6500+ rpms.....will give it the fact that it does scream when you get on it...different cars for different folks....i would rather have the TTr instead...better build quality as well....

I must say...they are totally diff, dude.
I much prefer my S4 for everyday driving...(GIAC chip)....but get the S2K out on some country roads, and it would hand the S4 its ***.
Drive the S2K....I guarantee that you will be really disappointed at first, but once you know how to work the Honda.....game over.
Enjoy...

As an owner of both, I couldn't disagree more with some of the sub-VTEC statements.

Of course it doesn't have the torque of a S4, but it pulls much stronger then any Civic. It's speed is deceiving. I scared myself silly once, looking down at my speedo, expecting 60-70 and seeing triple digits. Once it gains momentum, there's no stopping it - it pulls all the way to redline and seems like it could rev forever. It's a wonderful, wonderful car.
As to your question, personaly I wouldn't sell the S4 for a S2000. If you can own both, then do it. Don't sell the S4 though - I think you'll be dissapointed. True fun comes at 7k+ RPMs with the Honda, and there are only certain times when you can rev that high. True fun comes at 2k+ with the S4 - a much more usable type of power, but nowhere near the rush of VTEC at full wail. The S4 is more subdued, elegant and refined - all great qualities but none that will stir your blood in the same way as the Honda. But if you want to have a conversation at 75mph, no amount of stirring will help stop the wind noise.
So what is the moral of this story? Both the S4 and S2000 are FABULOUS cars - I'm just not sure I could live with the S2000 on a regular basis. Sometimes you just need a quiet ride to work...
