For those with front plates, what is the best way to have this done so it looks somewhat decent?

Default For those with front plates, what is the best way to have this done so it looks somewhat decent?

I am in NY so have to have the plate on...

You don't HAVE TO keep a front plate on...come on, take a chance!

In TX, I've gone almost 3 years w/o front plate...no tickets or warnings at all (knock on wood)

Pulled over 3x (cost me 2 PBA cards), went with plate mounted on painted plate cover...I give up!

my front plate was off for 1 week, I just got a ticket for it. btw the car was parked at the time!!!

Default I run a Euro front plate now but when I ran a standard issue front I had everything paited silver...

Default I'm from NY also, you don't NEED to have a front plate. IMO, lack of a front plate isn't something

you're going to get pulled over for. HOWEVER, if you're doing something else to get you pulled over (i.e., racing, speeding, running lights, etc...) it's something that is probably going to get you another ticket. As long as you exercise some care with your driving you shouldn't have a problem.

The other option is to get a second front piece and drill the holes and mount the plate to that. Keep it in the car and if you are really worried about it, swap the piece.

I can still get a ticket while I am parked... I got one before for having a plastic cover on a plate
