Default What exactly are "re-drilled" holes?

Are the existing holes filled then the new bolt pattern redrilled?

Default the lug pattern's 5x100 or something for bmw's, audi is 5x112, so u need to redrill the holes to ...

make the rims fit. i don't think u'd plug up the holes then redrill. i heard that the holes become almost oval when done. i just wanted to see some pics, and decide if i want to do this or not. if the holes are plugged then redrilled, i definatly don't want to do this. i also have no idea how u would plug such a hole.

Default I saw some redrilled Hamanns on an A4 at AWE a year and a half ago...

It was obvious (without looking closely) that the holes were oval shaped. Also, the holes were not refinished, so it didn't look that great (scratches, etc). I may have a pic of the car (from a distance) at home, but I don't think I have a close-up of the wheels.

Quick Reply: those with Hamann or other BMW specific rims , can u please post pics of the re-drilled holes?
