Default those with piggie phenolics (or other brand 10mm thick) AND APR bi-pipe

do you have issues with hitting the fan. i realize the holes are not going to line up on the timing covers...but the bi-pipe hitting the fan is really pissing me off. i cant imagine this would be sold without some sort of side note, or special consideration for those with a bi-pipe.

i cant see this bipipe seating properly to the TB if i adjust such that i am not hitting the fan.......and if it is seated properly, i dont see any way this fits without MAJOR cutting to the blades of the fan itself, which imo is not an option. i would really hate to have to go to a TBB (reenforced or not) just to accomodate a cooling mod that really wasnt a neccesity you know?

thanks for the input

joe

Default Try rotating the BiPipe to the drivers side some so you can seat the "ear" mount

on the BPipe onto the stock bolt/location. I did this with ASP spacers and it works. That extra 5mm is a PITA if you aren't running an EFK.

I thought all Bi-pipes hit the fan, mine did, I just filed down the end of the fan.

Default Nope, but then again I have a SPAL 16" curved blade EFK

One of my clients is having that problem with his Autospeed P-spacers installed. I got him the same fan I have to remedy the concern.

Default I notched out the covers of the TB being the Bi-Pipe is going to cover it. That made

the Bi-Pipe sit flush up against it and not out so it hit the fan. You only need to do the lower half of the round part that sticks out. Also, doesn't you APR Bi-Pipe hit the hood? I found the Autospeeds didn't and the Vast ones did.

just trim the blades down with a file, takes no time at all, or go EFK

Default I've seen a car with VAST Phenolic Spacers and RS4 Y-pipe, seemed to fit OK.

Joe, sorry about your issues. I didn't realize it would hit the fan, just took for granted the fact that I've got an EFK. Your best bet is to call Porky and ask him for advice IMO.

My car with VAST Phenolic Spacers and APR bipipe has *plenty* of room between the stock Y-pipe and hood.

Default Stock fan? Piggie must have a secret to making it all fit.

Nice mod list, man!
