Default For those of you with a homemade pressure tester...

What did you use to cap off the PCV that branches off of the Y-pipe? AWE says to use a little 7/8" vinyl cap, but Home Depot didn't have anything like that. Anyone know where I can find one (local stores, not online)? Or did anybody come up with any viable substitution for the cap?

Default If you're losing more than 3psi... trust me.. you don't need to cap anything....more >>

for as quick as the "test" occurs, have your buddy put his hand over the removed pcv fitting while you dig around looking for the leak.

Find the path of least resistance Luke. May the force be with you.

Try Home Depot in the Locks aisle. Look for bag of 25~29mm Rubber Stoppers

Default @home depot , where they have different types of piping ...

the ends of the metal pipes have caps on them (red or orange ) take couple ,and using a clamp also will do well
i ended up finding a nice 4 feet long drill in a clear plastic tube that had some thick rubber end caps (perfect fit for my Y pipe ) to contain the drill inside . i took one and capped the tube off with tape. it was a greenlee drill ( electrical and construction supply places have that stuff).. look in the electric section of home depot/lowes..(there should be a spot with Greenlee products )

http://198.247.193.8/wwwroot/greenlee/catalognew5000.html</a
