Default Timing belt life 104,000 miles..NOT according to this hood sticker!!

Do you guy NOT have this red sticker under your hood that says "replace the toothed belt every 75,000 miles."? This is not what the 'generic audi maint. book' says.
So many talk about the book recomendation, doesn't the sticker trump the book? I may pass 75K miles....but I do not have the guts to push it near 100k.

Default even at 75k you're pushing your luck

i replace a few water pumps at 60k and you can see that the timing belt has been binding against the pulley
good luck

Default I'm curious. what do you charge for this kind of work.

can email if you don't mind.
I due for this service but don't know if I can see any visible tears before incurring a costly repair.
thanks.
