Tint recommendation (Chicago DT)/Bug Removal
Two questions.
1) Anybody have a recommendation for getting windows tinted in downtown Chicago? What's a fair price? $200-250?
2)What are people using to remove bug remains from their bumper/hood? You need something that is somewhat abbrasive to remove the guts, yet not too abrasive so you won't damage the clearcoat.

Shaded Days up in Libertyville did mine for $225, 35% all around.....(m)
and they use Llumar sheets which is one of the best out there....and they use one complete sheet for the rear window which is great....ask for Mark and he will take care of ya.

use a product called p21 total auto wash. spray full strength and it "melts" bugs no harm to wax
its citric based and wont hurt plastic or paint. When I wash my car the first thing I do is spray it on the car and let is sit for about 5 minuts (shaded and cool to the touch car of course)by the time I get around to it with the wash mit the bugs and gunk just slide off!
