tip chip removal...Help

tip chip removal...Help
OK, the floor mat is upand Ive got my hands tip box , but that wad of wires stopped me cold. How do you release the wires from the box?Do you have to open the box to do it or does it just unplug?

ok...don't panic...
the chip ECU is simply resting in that nest, you should be able to pull it out from under the carpet with the wires attached, THEN unplug it.
Your next hurdle is that the ECU cover is held closed with metal tabs that you have to carefully bend to remove the lid.

Re: ok...don't panic...
thanks for the help...I give it a shot. just pull and pray, the rubber sheathing covers the end at the box so I couldnt see what was going on withit.
