Default tip s4 faster and lighter how?[long]

I have an 01 tip s4 I have no regretsabout the tip so when I ask don't say you shoulda got a 6spd. Ok I wanna make the car a bit faster. Minus the obvious like a ecu upgrade what can I do.
First make it lighter
I have changed rims and that took 42lbs off the car
Also changed exhaust so that was another 31lbs[ish]
How can I make it lighter minus pulling the seats out. Carbon fiber hood? Why are some 700 and some 2k whats the difference? If I had the hood do I have t worry about my audi tech slamming it and braking or are they very strong? Any other ways to lighten it up?
Speed. I have an exhaust and getting an intake on this board seems to be 50/50 some say gains some say no gains anyone dyno one that got gains? Down pipes don't seem to be a option they only seem to be made for 6spd. If I just had the tip tranny chip would i notice a quicker 1/4 time?
Well any thoughts or comments would be great.

Default Tip chip should make some difference

as your engine will make more power. The Tip chip will make your clutches have more clamping power so there is less chance of slippage. You can also hollow out your pre-cats for a little bit of more ooomph! Take out the spare. Get new seats. Take out the dampening in the rear seat or remove it completely. Take out the dampening in the rear deck area. Take out your floor mats. Get a CF hood or one made of fiberglass. Some hoods I've seen are very strong (you can stand on them). The evoms.com intake seems to work. KAOS has one and he's in the 12s.

...and while he's at 'adding this and doing that', he can throw in a manual 6 speed gear box ;-)
