Today's picture: My S4 in nearly stock form.
I drove over to Oceana naval station today for their cheap (50 cent) self-serve car wash. The stock wheels are back on for my next dragstrip run, which should've been yesterday. I like the sleeper/stock look.

thanks. Hey, I thought of your recent post today
I think one of my front control arm bushings is going bad! I can feel it wander on uneven pavement. Which lower arm is the most likely culprit? The one the swaybar connects to? I replaced the upper arms awhile back. thanks

Usually you hear it long before you can feel it....
If you are really feeling something then I'd look more closely at the tie-rod ends.
If it is a ball joint then it is much more likely to be the lower front control link. This is because the damper and spring acts through this link (so in other words, the weight of the car is all on this link). The rear link only acts to position the wheel and carries no weight.
It seems to be much more uncommon for the bushings to fail but it is possible. That would give you that wondering effect but even then I think it would have to be pretty far gone and there would be other symptoms.
In the end you've just got to examine everything really carefully. If there is any loosness whatsoever then replace it. Even look at the new stuff you've just installed. And make sure you check it in all positions as sometimes the wear is only obvious when the link is in a certain position.
