Top speed: Chipped with stock turbos? I topped out at 145 and wondered if my Allroad may
be geared differently? Got walked up top by a modded B6 S4 (As expected but I thought I should have been able to get over 145.) I was at 6200rpms for a while and had more road left but seemed to stop accelerating.

yep, geared diffently....
all the gears in the 6spd allroad are lower/shorter than the s4 6spd...the final drive in allroad is also shorter in the allroad....
chipped s4's have no problem hitting 145 and beyond...trust me ;-)

absolutely...i, uh, know someone who, hit 155 in "his" stg2 s4 and it was still pulling hard ;-)

162,5 mph... STOCK B5 S4!!!!
<center><img src="http://wurzthebest.altervista.org/immagini/260.jpg"></center><p>as you can see from the (blurry...) pic... 260 kmh (ca. 162,5 mph). The car was still going faster... I think I could get 265 kmh. But I read that stg2 US S4s arrive to 155mph... Have you got different final ratio?
