If it's just on the end there I wouldn't worry about it. Put some electrical tape under the clamp.

ease up on the clamp too, I think that's a sign of over-tightening.

Default Well I was checking my DVs to make sure they are still good and noticed the tear, they are not very
tight though. I think previous owner overtightened when putting on new valves. I'll try putting some tape on there, thanks.

Default don't worry about it .. that side is never under pressure
and it looks like it's only at the end and the clamp sealed it fine.
