Default Torn TBB, torn left inner CV boot, bad fuel sending unit ...

$1,000.

Skipped the fuel sending R&R, it's not that big a deal (guage stops sweeping at the first red hash mark and DIS stops calculating at 35 MTE) and will DIY later ($100 or so for the part).

Went ahead with the TBB, even though it's a $20 part and $200 repair (2 hours labor). I don't have time to DIY right now and need the car to be drivable ASAP.

Inner CV boot is what it is ... so having that done too.

I hate being mechanically inclined enough to avoid $115/hr labor bills, but not have the time to actually do the work.

Oh well. There's a BB over Silver/Onyx B7 S4 sedan (6MT, Perf Pkg, Bose/Sirius) on the lot. Hmmm. ;-)

damn, so that means 20 mins of your time is worth at least 230 bucks.

Default Bah ... not even, but I wish I could find "20 minutes" anymore.

My list of things that need to get done during those "20 minute" windows compounds daily it seems.

Default LOL

Actually, I've been off AW (teh int4rWeb in general) for over a month due to projects at work, which had me doing 12-15 hour days while juggling two kids because my wife's been traveling for business like crazy lately.

FWIW, I only sleep about 5 hours now as is.
