It is a easy Do it yourself job
Once you have it out just redrill the hole 3/4 of an inch lower and reinstall. No special tools, no special parts. I did it myself in about 10 minutes using a hand drill about a year ago.
I recall seeing a tech article at some point but can't seem to find it anymore. Maybe someone with better search skills can find it.

That's not what Craig does- - ->
he mills the inside faces, chamfers all the holes, mills a recess for the bolt heads and a few more steps...that's why the TG shifters are in such high demand...

Yes, I want a TG shifter, not a TG "type" shifter
Not only do I want the workmanship, but I like supporting the guys who come up with these ideas...encourages the next guy to come up with cool mods for our cars. I'm a little dissapointed he doesn't have some sort of autoreponder though, even if just to say sorry I'm not making them for a while, try back in 6 months.
