Default Trailer Hitched S4's

I saw in the archives that some people had installed a trailer hitch to support a rear-mounted bike rack. I was wondering, as crazy as it sounds, if anyone had used a S4 to tow a jet ski or small boat trailer. (yes, I know it's not a SUV - no flames please) If so, what's the approximate towing capacity?

OD.

Default The answer not to tow is bullcrap!!!! more

For those who have questions with whether or not to tow, Here in Europe, just about anything that has an engine and a tranny has a tow hitch attached to it.

I've seen M5s, S8s, Golfs, Fiats, etc. tow just not little bikes, but full on trailers. That's why they have headlight adjustment controls to point the beam down when the rear gets loaded down.

So anyone here who says with a religious tone that towing would be sacriligeous to the essence of the S4, sorry, that arguement doesn't fly anymore.

However, your dealer may have an issue if you have tranny problems.

Common sense applies here, so don't go off to the drags on the way to do some jetskiing.

It is written.
