RS4 is different, but i think S4 and A6 are the same

You can get an RS4 6 speed and it will swap in directly with no additional mods. It will benefit you by giving you lower rpms in 5th & 6th gear, resulting in better fuel economy & higher top end(depending on your engine).

We can get these for $4000, and are readily available AFAIK. They come in different setups, either machined to use the OEM US spec spacer, or to eliminate it altogether. Also, even the US spec 6 speeds are fairly easy to sell if they're in good working condition. Usually fetch around $2000.
