Default Transitioning from an E36 M3 to a 2001 S4... advice needed

Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum and so far it looks like a great place to get some advice from all these S4 guru's. I just picked up my Nogaro S4 and I am ready to dump some cash into it. If you could give me any advice on the following, it would be greatly appreciated:

1) APR/MTM chip. Which is better? Experiences? Any problems with either?

2) Brullen Exhaust? Worth the price? How about sound?

3) Any shops in northern NJ do any decent work on Audi's. Recomendations? I am looking to get a UUC shifter installed and maybee some body work.

Also, please send me pics of your Nogaro's and your modifications. Anyone put any sort of midly reflective tints on it?

Thanks in advance for your help, and I look forward to becoming a member of this forum.

Default GIAC make a very nice chip too. Don't leave them out of your choices.

If you come to Albany NY, I have a shop, and I can install all of your mods.

http://www.broadwayautoclinic.com</a

I think that is a E30, E36, or E46 M3!

Default Whats an E40?

BTW, I have an E30 325i and an S4.

1) APR or GIAC would be my two choices...I have had both. APR has the versatility of the multiple programs accessible through the cruise control stalk...but Garrett @ GIAC is coming out with something similar soon. You can't go wrong with either of these IMHO.

2)Brullen? I have not heard much good stuff about Brullen in the past 3 years. I would consider other exhausts. Seems several companies are bailing out of working with Borla..so expect a new exhaust from Neuspeed and AWE soon. UUC doesn't do an exhaust for the S4 anymore...APR has a new one...Milltek is around..and Remus just came out with a new one for the S4 (catback)

3) Talk to Gary Bossert at Camptownauto.com...he is a very good guy..and races E30 M3s from time to time.

4) Pics of my old Nogaro sedan are found in the Feature section of this website where I did a comparo article...comparing my modified S4 to my stock Audi 4000E...no comparison there. :-)

APR with all the options and Forge/Milltek is an excellent choice for exhausts.
