Default Tried out an APR chipped ECU last night

Car ran great. No strange noises other than a thunk through the drivetrain if you jump off the throttle while on boost.

Put my mind at ease and convince me to keep it in.

I've run mine for a little over a year and 18K miles with no problems.

I had mine for a year before I "up-staged". Never a problem.

Default keep it....

to quiet down the clunk, I suggest a DTS (drive train stabilizer from AWE, Autospeed, or Tantrumwerks). Also a snub mount (from Greedspeed)

Default sounds like something's broken if it clunks

I beat the tar out of mine every chance I get, no clunky <yet>.

Default could be rear diff mount or tranny mount......

could just be the lousy stock mounts moving around alot too...

DTS + Snub will stiffen that up.

Default It's not really noticeable

I may be just creating a noise cause I was so careful in listening for any strange sounds.

I was out a testing a bit more today, the only time I can get it to create anything resembling a thunk from the drivetrain is when I got from WOT and full boost in 3rd and cut the throttle completely. There's a muted thunk (nothing you can feel tho)
