I just heard that an oil change for the S4 costs $300 at the dealer (after the warranty runs out , that is)!!!! Is this true? It seems like an outrageous figure. I thought the only thing you needed for an oil change were a filter and some oil. What else is there? Am I missing something?

Since I am still covered under warranty, I bring my s4 into a audi dealership because the labor is free. I do bring my own oil just because I prefer using mobil 1 5w-40 synthetic oil. The only time that I had to pay $65 for an oil change was when I brought in my car to Stuttgart imports in colorado to have a UUC shifter installed along with an oil change. The tech charged me $65/hour but that is the price he charges for any type of labor.
