Is it true that I won't need the radio codes if I disconnect the battery for less than 30 minutes?..

I'm planning on changing out the battery tonight for a new one and was wondering if I'll need to go dig up those radio codes or not. I seem to remember someone saying that under 30 minutes presents no problem.

Default I must have a weird stereo. I disconnected mine for my turbo swap, my EFK, and

some other things for a long period of time and NEVER had to enter a code. Weird.

Default I didn't need the code when I did my battery swap out.

Probably a good idea to not leave the batt disconnected any longer than you have to. Disconnect the battery cables just before you lift the old one out of the car and re-connect as soon as you get the new one back in. I think mine wasn't disconnected for more than 5 min.

Default It seems that everytime my battery is disconnected, my radio dies...

and has to be replaced.

I've gone through 4 radios in my car.

Default Well, if you'd stop buying radios off Ebay...

Doh!
