Default the exact reason I dumped my 2.7 for a 4.2

Default turbos may be an economic timebomb, but how much of an economic drain would...
it be to get a 4.2 to produce the same power as a stage 3 2.7?

Default a 4.2 is a very different critter
kind of like riding a Harley. There is plenty of low rpm torque, but dies quickly in the higher rpm band. The normal aspiration is a very nice thing from a reliability standpoint. 300 ponies at 23 miles per gallon does not suck either. Perhaps a 2.7 for a project toy is in the future, but for reliable transportation I have found them cost prohibitive.

B6 isn't a reliability machine either. If that was my main concern, I'd drive a civic.
