a 4.2 is a very different critter
kind of like riding a Harley. There is plenty of low rpm torque, but dies quickly in the higher rpm band. The normal aspiration is a very nice thing from a reliability standpoint. 300 ponies at 23 miles per gallon does not suck either. Perhaps a 2.7 for a project toy is in the future, but for reliable transportation I have found them cost prohibitive.
