turbo timer lock problem
hey guys, i posted earlier about the locking problem with my turbo timer. My installer was Todd of Vortrag Motorsports in Warren, MI. He seemed to know what he was doing, i gave him your (James R) FAQ and I think he took it into consideration. What do you think the alteration I need to make is to make the car lock when the engine is still running? TIA

You need to tell him to follow the GD F'ING faq... ;-) this technique has never failed...
I just think Todd didn't feel like diggin' around that deep into your dash. There is no VAG setting that is needed or would help you here. Ton's of people have used my FAQ on Audi A4's the TT the S4 and the VW Passat...I even heard someone had used it on an A6 2.7T but that's unconfirmed.
Hmm those guys at Vortrag are supposed to be on their game...maybe they just don't trust my FAQ and didn't do the things that are outlined in the FAQ...if you don't follow it you certainly can't expect it to work right can you?
