Default Two Pics: CF trim update # 3 and my Icelink mini ipod install

Only problem I mentioned last time with my CF project was a lack of gloss in my final finish. I have solved that with a medium/fine polish and a machine glaze coupled with an electric polisher. Now its as good as the OEM trim in terms of gloss. You can tell the difference in the picture because the ash tray and shifter plate I have done with the electric polisher while the hazard surround was just done with my old hand method of polishing.

Just finishing up the long dash piece now...final update and pics should be up next week. I also have the tech writeup/DIY completed except for a few pics and the polishing section so that will be up next week also.

The ipod install I did myself. I drilled a hole in the back of my ash tray and ran the wire behind the AC control up to the radio. I just use the head unit buttons to control playlist/track and this way the ipod doesnt interfere with the look of the interior. (THANKS TO: Induktion for providing me with the radio removal tools as well as lending a hand when I needed one...like removing the AC unit)

Glad to hear the writeup will be done soon. That shifter surround looks excellent.

Default How do you select songs on your Ipod?

Or do you simply use a playlist?
