how many feedbacks does he have?
That should tell you whether he's scamming. I wouldn't send money straight to anyone with less than 10 positives or ANY negatives.
I think that's why I got my BBS LMs so cheap. The seller had zero feedbacks and the listing sounded fishy. I only bid on them after deciding I'd drive to Raleigh, NC to pay/pickup in person.
