Ok I posted yesterday about my experience at the track. For those who didnt read it I'll summarize.

Under heavy load/WOT entering straightaway, I heard a Loud POP and immediately lost significant power. I pulled into the pits and found that my -T TBB had completely popped off the throttle body itself. Upon inspection I found standing oil in the TBB and TB. My theory is that the oil inside the TBB lubricated itself enough to allow it to pop off under high boost! After cleaning and drying everything I reassembled everything and power was back to normal. However, many people speculated that it was my turbos, which really got me scared!

Ok, now for the good part. I spoke with Stephen and Brett at APR. They said that oil in the TBB and TB is 100% Normal under track use. They verified that the same problem has been seen an many of their cars as well as other customers.

The oil is coming from the CRANKCASE ventilation. The vent normally releases only vapors but under heavy use/high boost level (ie. track time/WOT) oil can also enter the tubes. (Brett@APR, could you expand a bit more here??)

NOTE: Brett did point out that it <i>COULD</I> be something more serious but that it is highly unlikely. I am definitely going to error on the side of caution and take the car to the dealer this week to have it checked out.
