Upgrade! A6 to S4
Hey there folks! Just here to drop the line on my new ride. I am trading in the old tank (99 A6 Quattro 2.8 w/168000km), for a 2002 S4 w/148000km! Can not wait to get the new beast home.
I am here for a few answers. Xenon headlights, and fog lights came in US versions, and not the Canadian version. I am wondering if it is possible to swap out the headlights from a US car, along with the foglights. The S4 I am buying has a fog light switch on the console (unless that switch is something else that I am unaware of).
The S4 will be a huge upgrade already due to the fact of the killer 2.7t power platnt. My 2.8 was sluggish to say the least. I have already looked at buyers guides, and other stuff to cover all my bases before bying the car.
It has brand new turbos, bilstein struts, valve cover gaskets, and timing belt, all done at 130000km at a cost to the previous owner. Cant wait to get her home!

Congrats on the upgrade! Everyone knows how exciting a new car can be. Even if it isn't "new", it is new to you In regards to the headlight and foglight question, I am not sure why you would not be able to swap. I do not believe there are any body differences that would prevent you from doing so.
