Default Upgrading my S4 with a wasted turbo

I do have access to some RS4 parts and wonder if anyone can advise me to go for the upgrade or to just repair the fault. I can get ko4 turbos, downpipes cats and intercoolers, quite cheaply but should i take on the headache?


What is this stuff worth (used) anyway?

are the turbos blown or not? if not, i'd wait til they blow before replacing.

Nope (not Scotts). I'm in the Netherlands.
Yes one of the turbos is dead and needs replacing.

Default in that case, don't put KO3's back in. geta new set of KO4's with all the associated inlet pipes
etc. if you want you can go to a "full stage 3" and add the fueling and software elements too...KO4's **seem** to be more hearty so far.

New will be a tough squeeze with the wife. I can get some used though. Not bad condition.

Still not cheap if you consider the replacement cost.
