used S4 with tip

used S4 with tip
My sister just bought a used '01 S4 with 37,000 with the Audi assured thing. Got it from Laurel Audi near Chicago (Best Audi dealership on the PLanet).
I have a question about the tip. In my A4 2.8q/t I could enter tip mode and first gear would last as long as I wanted it to. In her S4 1st gear shifts to second gear almost immediately without any intervention from the driver. Where as I am used to tip upshifting at redline ( near) this shifts by itself at about 2 or 3 thousand RPM's. Is this normal? We have an appointment with the dealership to fix other stuff and wondering if this should go on the list.
Other things wrong:
1 Passenger seat does not recline
2 Car pulls to right on acceraltion and braking
3 dashboard is loose where it meets windsheild.
other than that, I cannot believe how smooth this car is. You can't even tell it's on at rest... it's smoother than my A4 3.0qm and a whole world smoother than my old A4 2.8. And even with tip it awesome to drive...

I prefer the 00032 coding myself...
I have a 2000 S4 w/Tip. I primarily drove in "D" mode until recoding the Tip to 00032. I almost exclusively drive in Tip mode now. You will like the change...I promise.

A4 tip doesn't auto shift 1-2
So one of those changes is useless. The other one is for some sort of "sport" mode that never has tested that on an A4 that I've seen.
